Writing Prompt: Try to write 50,000 words in the period of a month. Yes, this month’s monthly challenge writing prompt is to participate in NaNoWriMo!

In the simplest terms, National Novel Writing Month challenges you to write 50,000 words, a word count for a novel, in the period of a month. This is 1,667 words per day. We at the Periwinkle Pen all participated in this challenge last year, and we created a list of strategies for previous participants and Newbies.
